Community Supported Agriculture

{ Weekly Veggie Box }

Thank you for supporting your local farmer and we look forward to growing fresh vegetables for you all summer long!

Community-supported agriculture (CSA) is a food production and distribution system that directly connects farmers and the community. In short: people buy "shares" of a farm's harvest in advance and then receive a portion of the crops as they're harvested.

A few things to consider if you're unsure if a CSA is right for you:

  • Eating with the seasons and enjoying fresh organic produce is important to you.

  • You're willing to stick to a schedule and pick-up your produce on a weekly basis.

  • Want to learn more about food and how to prepare it.

  • You are flexible with your meal planning based on what’s available each week.

  • Building a relationship with your farmer and knowing where your food comes from is important to you.

Sound good so far?

We’ve partnered with Rainfield Farm and Mrs. Dornberg’s Culinary Experience. As a CSA member you’ll receive a fun, informative newsletter that will include farm news, produce info, nutritional info and recipes along with how-to videos from Mrs Dornberg’s! We’re very excited to partner with Mrs. Dornberg, a Certified Culinary Nutrition Expert, who will offer incredible culinary support to all our CSA members. Our partnership with Rainfield Farm will help us to provide a wide-range of fresh, high-quality local vegetables.
